In mid-February, we hosted our first event with Feelsgood Capital, Croatia’s innovative €30M start-up investment fund dedicated to driving social change. Renata Brkić, Managing Partner at Feelsgood Capital, pointed out that impact investing is growing rapidly, and that financing of the achievement of 17 Sustainable Development Goals will require an additional $30 trillion in investment over the next decade. This impact investment fund is the most prominent in the region and is specifically aimed at investing in Croatian and Slovenian for-profit impact ventures.

At the event, Martin Kandus, co-founder of BiteMe Nutrition, and Marko Dravinec, co-founder of Juicefast, representing the two Slovenian start-ups that have already received funding from Feelsgood Capital, shared their valuable experience of their beginnings, their initial pain points, and their journey with different investors. Feelsgood Capital did not just offer financial investment; they also expanded networks, opened doors to new business opportunities, and became a valuable partner on the journey.

Feelsgood Capital is preparing to launch its new 2.0 fund in 2025, which will provide additional continuous investment opportunities for Slovenian and Croatian impact start-ups. Regular pitching events will be held in Slovenia and Croatia in order to scout the most promising ventures with a positive social or environmental impact.
