The Open House Slovenia Festival, a prominent event in the international Open House Worldwide network, took place from 14 to 16 April 2023. As the largest architectural and real estate festival in Slovenia, it offers a unique and effective concept—providing the public with complimentary access to outstanding architectural and spatial designs.

This festival opens the doors to buildings typically inaccessible to the public, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in architectural experiences and connect with the individuals who design, construct, furnish, and maintain these spaces.

We were honoured to host two free tours of Impact Hub Ljubljana, located within the Ljubljana Stock Exchange building. The interior design carefully planned by Borjan Bojičić and Jure Senjak from Peppermilk Design studio transformed the space into a multifunctional hub. Their creative vision, aligned with Impact Hub’s commitment to sustainability, is evident in the thoughtful details, such as the chairs made from recycled plastic bottles by the Slovenian company, Donar, found in the common areas and meeting rooms.

Impact Hub is a community-oriented space, and this ethos is reflected in the design and co-creation of the interior. The ideas and opinions of all employees were incorporated, creating a space that truly represents its inhabitants. The inclusion of plants and natural elements adds a breath of fresh air to the space, underscoring the importance of sustainable development in all aspects of our daily life.
